Ocelot

Ocelot is a creative coding experiment developed with p5.js. The script animates the construction of an ocelot image from the pixels that compose it.

The image emerges progressively through a scanning process in which pixels appear according to random behavior. The piece uses randomness both as a visual composition strategy and as a way of controlling the image’s formation over time.

The project is part of uint studio's ongoing research into generative interfaces, visual behavior, and the subtle variations produced through code. In larger projects, this research appears in elements that make each visit different, such as variable image selections, dynamic compositions, and non-fixed visual responses.

Ocelot exists as a self-contained study. Its interest lies in the relationship between image, time, and computational procedure.
